Principal Mrs. Pamela Allen-Ingram

Mrs. Pamela Allen-Ingram is the new Principal of Barbour County Primary School.  Mrs. Allen-Ingram has twenty-seven years of experience in public education. She has served as a curriculum assistant at Alabama State University in the Levi Watkins Learning Center and as an elementary education teacher, technology coordinator/teacher, assistant principal and acting principal in K-12 public education. 

Mrs. Allen-Ingram is a native of Alexander City, Alabama and a graduate of Benjamin Russell High School.    She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Alabama State University and an Education Specialist Degree in Elementary with Certification in Educational Leadership from Auburn University Montgomery. 

Mrs. Allen-Ingram is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and various professional organizations such as Council for Leaders in Alabama and the National Education Association.  She is married to Bennie Ingram, Jr. and has three beautiful birth children: Mingkel, Miekah and Mykel.

As the Instructional Leader of Barbour County Primary School (BCPS), I take pride in my Students, Faculty/Staff, Community and Stakeholders. I understand we must be One to conquer the challenges of academic norms. I am committed to promoting growth mindset while developing leaders. I believe our students are the Core of our school and our Faculty/Staff members are the heartbeat that keep us moving and roaring!

Barbour County Primary School is the foundation for scholars. We strive for academic excellence and promote social emotional growth. Each day, we offer learning experiences that will develop the whole child. We reinforce teaching and learning on a daily basis.
